Jane pushes the town to action when she refuses to attend school because Milo is barred from enrolling in the all-white school. Milo has to make a choice: to live with his own kind or live with a white family.  Read on and find out howMilo changed the lives of the residents of Morgan Hill. Highly recommended.

Divine Justice

By David Baldacci

John  Carr alias Oliver Stone, former CIA assassin, has killed Carter Gray, head of theCIA and Roger Simpson, a US Senator. He rescues Danny Riker on the train and they both flee to Danny's small coal-mining hometown of Divine, Virginia to hide him from the CIA.  Simultaneously, Stone is tracked down by arch enemy Joe Knox who ends up befriending him rather than killing him. Stone finds himself immersed in another mystery in the mining town. It turns out that Divine is full of intrigue, murder and drug runners with most of the coal miners as methadone addicts. This thriller is difficult to put down. It becomes interesting because Stone is often threatened by his own people than by the bad guys.  Recommended to all lovers of mystery.
